Worshops are held monthly for the teaching staff of the Project ROAR centers. Teachers, as well as their assistants, are provided training in various subject areas to assist them in achieving our goal of having Centers Of Excellence. Each month a new topic is discussed. These trainings not only offer valuable information, but also give the teachers and assistants an opportunity to ask questions about certain aspects of the program and the role they play in the classroom learning environment. Teachers gain knowledge into the importance of literacy in a child's life and how they can create a literacy rich environment.
